What is one major problem in the world and how would you solve it?
One major problem that I think the world has is poverty. There is to many people living in poverty all over the world. They don't have enough money to buy food or shelter for themselves or their families. We can help this problem by being more generous to others. I live a very fortunate life and so do many many others. We need to give to causes like World Vison and others like that that help the unfortunate. We have no idea what the people are like and we often forget about them and pretend they aren't there. We can't do that. We have to forget about ourselves and start thinking of others more.

Teen Issues
What is the most important issuefacing teens your age today? How should they deal with it?
I think one of the most important and difficult issues teens deal with today is peer pressure. So many teens are pressured into doing things they are not comfortable with. I know I have certainly dealt with peer pressure.
Some issues concerning teens today are drugs, drinking, sex and other important issues. Everyone is brought up with different values and morals from their parents. As we get older and start to experience new things theses values get challenged and we have to choose what we think is right and what is wrong. I know myself I have been offered drugs at party's and I haven't done them. It is something that I do not feel I need to do or tell people I have done. Pressure from my peers has made it hard sometimes to stick to my values. But I also know that I am the one that has to live with my choices. I don't think doing drugs is wrong and I have no problem with people that do them. I just don't feel the need to do them.
As I get older I feel that pressure doesn't affect me as much and I can stand up to the pressure. I hope that I don't pressure my peers into anything that they feel uncomfortable with.

My hero is my mom. My mom is the most caring person and hard working person I know. She works at the municipal office 4-5 days a week were she is the assistant administrative officer. Before work everyday she wakes me and my brother up, gets ready herself and makes our lunch's. After work she comes home to more work, either cleaning, cooking, working outside or helping my dad on the farm. She has never once complained. She's my hero.
1) Describe how you would feel if you were your teacher. If you were in charge what would you do differently?
If I was the teacher of my class I would be very stressed out all the time. Our class is very fun and exciting. We are always talking, laughing and we are tons of fun to be around but getting us on task is very hard. I would try to make assignments that were fun to do and you learned from. I think our class would benefit most from using everyday life as a learning tool.
2) If you were a teacher, how would you treat someone as yourself?
I think I am a pretty good student. I hand in my assignments on time most of the time and am respectful. Somtimes I talk to much with my friends and cause a distrubence but I don't ever mean to be disruptive. If I was my teacher I think I would try to keep me from talking to much and to give me projects that challange me.
